In July 2007, the Task Force to Study the Feasibility of Developing Urban Senior-Care Communities in Baltimore City was authorized (Chapter 510, Acts of 2007). While evaluating the potential for senior-care communities in Baltimore City, the Task Force is to investigate: using tax credits as incentives to the private sector in their development; and using Medicaid or Medicare funding for health care services needed within such communities.
Authorization for the Task Force continues through June 30, 2008.
